Another event another amazing weekend at Poole Qua

Another event another amazing weekend at Poole Quay.

This time we welcomed over 70 yachts participating in the International Poole Regatta, over 130 competitors took to the water for 3 days of intense racing on various courses inside Poole Harbour and out in Poole Bay. Poole Regatta was also host to the GBR IRC National Championship, this is the first time the Championship has been held outside the Solent.

As the last of the historic RNLI lifeboats depart the marina, we take a look back on an incredible weekend, the crowds turned out to see up close over 30 historic, international and RNLI Lifeboats (&1 RC) on display.

It was a privilege to be asked to host part of the Poole Lifeboat Festival. Celebrating the RNLI’s 200th anniversary, working with the amazing team at the RNLI was truly inspiring.

No slowing down for the marina team this week, as from tomorrow we start welcoming over 75 racing yachts participating in the International Paint Poole Regatta.

Pontoons will be open from 11am - 4pm Saturday and 11am - 3pm Sunday.

The historic lifeboats have started to arrive, in preparation for the Lifeboat Festival on the 18-19th May.

As part of the RNLIs 200th celebrations Poole Quay Boat Haven will be 1 of 4 hosting sites.

Visit us and take a walkthrough the History of Maritime Search and Rescue Boat Show, with more than 20 historic lifeboats, the oldest dating back to 1868, and rescue boats from international lifesaving organisations including Norway, Sweden, France and the Netherlands.

With a special recognition to the @rnli in celebration of their 200th year, our Harbour Guide features information on Poole Harbour, local services and facilities around the harbour as well as a number of editorials including an update from @piphareoceanracing , @seakeepers, information on many events happening on Poole Quay this year including the RNLIs Lifeboat festival, @seafoodandsounds and much much more.

With a number of large events already in the calendar including multiple events celebrating the @rnli 200th Birthday, International @pooleregatta , 15 club rallies/brokerage open days and not forgetting we get to watch up close the @piphareoceanracing team as they prepare for the start of the 2024 Vendee Globe from their home base at Poole Quay.
